Reviewed On: May 09, 2019As a trekker, I always seek for opportunites to get to the higher grounds at any place in the world, and this “Best of Sapa” trip marked another memorable milestone in my travel days. I went there at spring and it was really cold – which is opposite from the usual humidity in Rio de Janeiro, but it was not a big problem since the guys at TrekkingSapa.com knew how to get through the freeze and keep trekking. We are provided warm place to live, nice chances to learn culture and good service from head to toe. My diary was full of great words for you guys and I will definitely go back here – of course with you as my chosen tourist agency.

Reviewed On: May 08, 2019You take the overnight train to Sapa, which was an enjoyable experience, although we had been told it was a terrible trip. We really enjoyed it. When you arrive in Sapa you are greeted by the Hmong people in there traditional uniform, what a beautiful race of people, so tiny. Get yourself a guide and walk, our guide was a young girl called Me, who knew the place inside. The hotel we stayed in was comfortable, allthough it lacked a few home comforts, but the country side is superb. Rice fields, terraced Into the hills, Villages. And amazing waterfalls. we still managed to get around though it rained for 18 hours straight. One of the villages put on a traditional dance performance for us. It was thoroughly enjoyable. If you don't mind walking then this is definitely a must on your travels in Vietnam.

Reviewed On: Feb 01, 2016During the trip, the coach stopped in a middle of the mountain. It’s when they spotted a good ground for tourists to take photos. And once again, we were all speechless with some hundreds of stairs made up by the paddy fields from mountains to mountains, from hills to hills. The morning market is the most interesting part of the tour where you can bargain with the locals who can speak English as a native speakers far more better than the city men and women we met in the big cities like Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. Still wondering who taught them to be this good. One last thing, the meals they served here are not that elegant but they suit well with the place – local tastes and simple but delicious food.

Reviewed On: Jan 26, 2016We have to say that this is one of our BEST trekking tours ever! It took us hours but none of us felt tired since the view, the scenery was way too awesome! It’s amazing to see all the “stair fields” (not sure if I call it right) from the hill. We will never forget this! Another great thing about Sapa is the market with loads of delicious food at very cheap price. We love the grilled meat and the grilled rice served in a bamboo tube. Best food ever! What’s best about this tour is that you discover not only the beautiful scenery, the great food but the culture of hill tribe as well. We took a lot of pictures about these friendly never-stop-smiling people. Sapa will always be in out recommended destinations for real tourists who want real discovery!Thank you so much Mr Hong fromTrekkingSapa.com.

Reviewed On: Jan 14, 2016We stayed in Sapa for 3 days and did a few treks, during the days. We did the Cat Cat and saw the rice paddies and panoramic views. The next day we walked to Ham Rong Mountain and then walked around the village and the markets. The weather was very cloudy & cold both days we did our walks and rainy. However if you need anything Sapa has it all, great snow gear. The sun did appear in the afternoon and the village of Sapa is lovely. The traditional village women are waiting outside the hotel for us to start our walk. I must admit that I was shocked at the amount of plastic rubbish along the treks, shame.

Our tour consisted of my complete family that includes me, my wife and the two lovely kids we have. All of us enjoyed every bit of our trip. The first day of our tour started with Sapa town highlights. We spent almost an hour at the traditional local market where people came wearing their traditional dresses, it was lovely to click them through the lenses. The other days of the tour were equally wonderful and some of the places where we visited and which were memorable for us include Silver Waterfall, Tram Ton Pass and Muong Hoa Valley. For the memories way back, my wife bought some handicrafts and embroidered clothes from the local market. It was truly a memorable tour for us, the kids had a lot fun throughout the tour just in the way we had.

Reviewed On: Jan 06, 2016As far as my personal experience goes, there are very few tour companies who can actually provide you with a wonderful and satisfying trekking experience. The reasons are varied… the most important of them is the lack of an expert tour guide with all the knowledge about the local areas, roots, languages etc. We were quite doubtful when we first opted for Sapa Trekking Company, but thankfully our trekking trip was a great success. Thanks to the tour guide, he was brilliant all the way. We would love to recommend trekking sapa company… great going…

Reviewed On: Jan 04, 2016Thanks to the helpful reviews on TripAdvisor, I confidentially booked through trekkingsapa.com for a tour to Sapa, a place I’ve never been to before. I thought to myself that the trekking tour to highland Sapa in Vietnam would be an adventurous one. But it turned out to be so different. We had transports between the areas and just only walked when we arrived at some area. This is quite an amazing place in a hot country like Vietnam. The air is cold with lots of impressive sights. Never in my life have I seen so many paddy fields from the feet to the top of mountains in Sapa. Going up and downhill, another breathtaking scene appears after every turn. The most amazing thing I’d love to recommend here is the spicy grilled food. Meat of all kind put on skewers for your choice. They also have grilled eggs but I don’t like it. It costs me only 200,000 VND (around $10) for 20 skewers of meat. My friend Jason and I had a great dinner in the breezy market with meat skewers and rice in bamboo along with local wine.

I suppose if you are used to the extreme heat in Ho Chi Minh City then it would appear cold, but for us it was like a lovely English summer day I really enjoyed this tour, the guides were helpful and the local people just wonderful. To see the women in their traditional costumes was really good, a great experience. I would definitely advise people to try this trip. Again we are so pleased to say thanks to Mr. Hong for introducing us about this Sapa Trip. We would love to recommend this company to all our friends.

United StatesFrom the moment I reached out to TrekingSapa.com, Hong was incredibly accommodating. We exchanged over 40 emails as he custom designed my trip to fit my needs. His response time was often less than 12 hours. Every detail of our trip was taken care of- from private drivers to the most friendly tour guides. Even with every detail planned for me, the trip absolutely exceeded my expectations. Every time we got to a new hotel or a new city we kept thanking Hong. Hong is incredible and I can't wait until my friends can experience his hospitality when they come to Vietnam

BrazilAs a trekker, I always seek for opportunites to get to the higher grounds at any place in the world, and this “Best of Sapa” trip marked another memorable milestone in my travel days.

AustraliaYou take the overnight train to Sapa, which was an enjoyable experience, although we had been told it was a terrible trip.

SwedenDuring the trip, the coach stopped in a middle of the mountain.

GermanyWe have to say that this is one of our BEST trekking tours ever!

AustraliaWe stayed in Sapa for 3 days and did a few treks, during the days.

GermanyThe experience with our Sapa tour was memorable mostly because of the excellent services by our tour company TrekkingSapa. We were really happy with their services.

JapanAs far as my personal experience goes, there are very few tour companies who can actually provide you with a wonderful and satisfying trekking experience.

FinlandThanks to the helpful reviews on TripAdvisor, I confidentially booked through trekkingsapa.com for a tour to Sapa, a place I’ve never been to before.

AustraliaMy brother and I chose trekking Sapa after seeing it was number 1 on TA. Our tour guide Ngoc was fantastic and everything was well organized and ran smoothly. The family stay was pretty authentic too. We cooked and ate around the table with the lovely family and the living quarters were very clean and comfortable.

United KingdomWe have just returned from the trip of our lives. We went to Vietnam and as part of the tour we went to Sapa to see the ethnic hill tribe people and how they live there lives. Everyone we spoke to in advance said that Sapa was cold, and we wondered if we would have to buy better clothes. When we got there though, it was not. The company we used was called trekking Sapa and it was easy to book.

IsraelI did a 2 day trek in Sapa, 1 day city tour in Hanoi and 2 day sightseeing in Hua Lu/Trang An Grottoes. Trekkingsapa and the other staff, and my guides Anh and Phuong were amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed it very much, and they arranged everything carefully and efficiently. I also learned a lot about Vietnam through the guides. I thoroughly recommend the north tour in Vietnam with trekkingsapa company!

United StatesLast month we were a group of 5 to take the trek in Sapa and had an amazing experience. Getting in touch and planning the visit with this company was easy and friendly. With Pang as our local guide we couldn't ask for better- she acted as our 'culture translator', introducing us to the Black H'mong tribe and to the beautiful nature along the trek, and flowing with our requirements are walking pace and areas we wanted to see. The home stay had everything we needed and some delicious food! Overall we had a superb experience which we would highly recommend! Thank you Pang we miss you already.
