The way to Tien Cave
Going upstream Chay River about 6 kilometers, from the center of Bao Nhai Commune (Bac Ha District), the boat will take you through Trung Do Ancient Citadel where has a lot of myths in Sapa. At that place, Chay River creates a deep stream. It gently needles through two bristly walls. The two sides are a wide range of primitive forests, making the whole landscape fresh and cool. The legend in Tien Cave
Tien Cave is usually associated with the legend of three fairies. The story tells that there were three fairies living in the heaven. One day, their father allowed them to visit the world. Because of the beautifully charming sceneries here, the three fairies did not want to return, which made their father get angry and had thunder genie punish them. The three fairies anxiously hid in the cave higher than the water surface about 200 meters. Hopelessly, they knew that they could not escape the punishment from their father so they jumped into the river to kill themselves. After that, the three corpses drifted downstream to the center of Bao Nai Commune. The local people here picked these up and built a shrine named Ba Co to worship the three fairies.
The magnificent beauty of Tien Cave
From the moment of entering Tien Cave, you will feel like stepping into a magnificent natural maze. From the distance of about 500 meters, you will hear the sound of water dripping to form stalactites with different sizes and diverse styles.
