2-day-2-night Sapa tour – Off the beaten track
This Sapa tour will get you through the combination of Sapa – Ma Tra – Ta Phin – Lao Chai – Ta Van in just 2 days and 2 nights. In the first night you will catch an overnight train from Hanoi to arrive at Lao Cai in the next morning. You will be picked up then by our guide and be transferred to the former hill station of Sapa and leave your luggage at the hotel. Afterward, it’s time to start discovering the entire Sapa town, first start off with Ta Phin valley! During the pathway you will come across some magnificent scenery including terraced paddy fields and an ancient Catholic abbey. When reaching Ta Phin village, you will have a chance to explore the daily life of Red Dzao ethic, as well as to buy woven and textile brocades made by local people.
Next day is a long journey for tourists as you will have to pass the Golden Stream valley to reach Lao Chai village for lunch, before going to Ta Van village to visit the Dzay tribe. At the end of the day you will return back to Sapa and catch an overnight train to go back to Hanoi.

4-day-3-night Hanoi & Sapa tour
If you wish to pay a visit in Hanoi in addition to Sapa, this Sapa tour is definitely for you! After arriving at Noi Bai airport in the first morning, you will have opportunities to take a look at some well-known scenic places such as Sword Lake, Hanoi Railway Station or Red River. You will have dinner by yourself until the night, when our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the station to catch the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Tourists will start hiking along the local trails and come across rocky mountain ridges or terraced paddy fields after having breakfast in Sapa to go through the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and reach Lao Chai village before having a picnic there. Afterward, you will walk down through the village to the Golden Stream Valley before arriving at the homestay in Ta Van. The homestay is simple, equipped with mattresses and a mosquito nets. We will have dinner here and stay overnight.
After breakfast, we explore the village a little bit further. We then start 3-hour trek to Giang Ta Chai village (Red Dzao). This trek offers some moderate challenges as we negotiate a winding trail by rice terraces along the steep mountainside. The vegetation is dense as the trail leads up to a peaceful hamlet perched on the side of Hoang Lien Mountain. After visiting a family in the village, we walk to get back on the main road, then head back to Ta Van, where our vehicle awaits to take us back to Sapa town. We drive back to Sapa for a late lunch in a local restaurant, and you’re free to explore the town, its market and sloping streets with many colorful handicrafts. At around 4pm, a shuttle bus will come and pick you up to go back to Hanoi and prepare for the last day of the trip.

During your last day, our guide will take you to visit the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, The Quan Thanh Pagoda and the temple of Tran Quoc. You will also see the fascinating Temple of Literature and Remarkable Old Quarter of Hanoi. This Sapa tour will finish at about 4:30pm, and we hope to see you next time in another trip to Sapa!
