1/ The location
About 12 kilometers to the northeast of Sapa Town, there is an imposing limestone mountain belonging to Hoang Lien Son Mountain. On which, there is a cave named Ta Phin. This name derives from the fact that it is located in Ta Phin Village, where is the place of residence of most Dao and H’mong people in Sapa.
2/ The characteristics
Ta Phin Cave is quite small with about 5 meters in height and about 3 meters in width. Its entrance is the way leading to an underground path. Going about 30 meters in this way, from this position, the cave is divided into a lot of directions which are only suitable for one person. Besides, there are so many cliffy parts demanding you to climb to move to another position. Following these small walls, you will see more and more paths.
