It is rainy season from May to August in Sapa, and the temperature can drop down below zero Celcius degree during winter, thus don’t be surprise if snowfall happens!

Transportation during Sapa tours
In Sapa you could easily rent a motorbike for reasonable price, from a hundred dong per day, excluding fuel and other costs. Please be aware that a day here only counts from 6am to 6pm, hence you should get back to your hotel before 6pm. Some renters may allow you to return bike back before 8pm.
Grab bike in Sapa
Otherwise, it is possible to bargain with “grab biker” and have them transport you to some famous sightseeing around Sapa. The price for a quick tour in 4 – 5 places in Sapa is around 100.000 VND.
Last but not least, you can simply hire a private car or participate in Sapa tours being provided by travel agents nearby. We would recommend that you should ask hotel receptionist or local people to gather some information about this service.

Food during Sapa tours
Breakfast: There’s a Pho Ga counter opposite to the bus station of town named Hoang Ngan (right next to the church), or else you can go into Sapa market and have a bowl of Pho in a small stilt. Yummy!
Lunch: Anh Dung restaurant (69 Xuan Vien street – near the bus station) or Suoi Bac restaurant (Tue Tinh Ward) or Hoa Dao restaurant (33 Xuan Vien street). These places have superior quality with affordable price and are praised by many tourists during their Sapa tours.
You must try grilled dishes during your Sapa tour
In addition, there’s a food court near the center Square in front of Sapa church. Remember to ask the price in advance, just in case services are overpriced. This area is really crowded at night with unique grilled dishes such as: grilled eggs, grilled stomach, grilled hearts, grilled chicken… Particularly, travellers really have to try other tasty dishes like Lam Rice, Tao Meo wine, Ban Pho corn wine, vegetable hotpot, grilled fish, salmon, boiled corns…
