But perhaps the most impressive things for tourists when coming to Lung Cam is traditional dirt houses here with rustic colors, old but still have their very own beauty. These ancient houses here have the beauty challenging the time and harsh weather, and that’s why the ancient houses in Lung Cam become the source of inspiration of not only photographers but also directors.
Since being selected as the context for movie “Pao’s story”, the house of 4 generations of a Mong family has become very famous, that attracts a large amount of tourists to Lung Cam village each year.

Right among the vast highland, the house like a Mong village in small size with many generations living together, with the long lasting traditions,… Paths to the house cross a buckwheat field with both sides colored in pink of buckwheat flowers. Therefore, it will be best to come here in the buckwheat season, when all the paths covered with the romantic pink of buckwheat flowers and wild little flowers. The warm colors of the dirt walls of ancient houses, of flowers, of the roofs,… makes the scenery of this place seem to be opposite to the cold colors of the Winter always hold on the top of the mountains and highlands here.
For many years, in every spring, “Pao’s house” is always attractive to visitors, because of the white plum, pink color of the flower fields makes the house more attractive. And for the peace of Lung Cam, when coming here, tourists won’t help but take a lot of beautiful pictures.
