The train arrives at around 6:00 am. Look for the “Trekking Sapa’s Logo & Your Name” sign when you exit the train station, as our guide will pick you up there and transfer to the former hill station of Sapa. After having breakfast at local restaurant, Local Guide Pick up for Trekking , a beautiful day, A hard and authentic hiking tour in Sapa, walking around the Sapa town and then trek up to pine tree forest with a beautiful panorama of Sapa town. Discovering an authentic area and non-touristy villages ( faraway touristy area ). Lunch in local restaurant and then keep trekking down to bamboo forest and small waterfall on a dirt trail. An amazing view of Muong Hoa valley ( a biggest and most beautiful valley for rice terrace fields in Vietnam ), hunting unique pictures, enjoy fresh air on high mountain. With ‘Homestay’ experience, your overnight accommodation is provided by a local family in their traditional house-on-silts. There are some private rooms on the first floor for priavte tour and you will have toilet or bathroom sharing. The sleeping corner is set up with a single mattress (thin, but adequate), blankets (ditto), pillow and mosquito net. The restroom is at standard and a few steps from the main house.

Following a breakfast with local people, enjoy marvel at the breathtaking scenery morning, then leave the village to continue to visit Red Dao people at Giang Ta Chai where we also have short break near by a hanging brigde made from cane and a beautiful waterfall. The Red Dao women have very colorful red embroidery and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of the women have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice Red Zao Legend.
We continue along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa River and trek up to Su pan village where you will meet the Car and transfer back to Sapa. The rest of day free time for exploring local market and Sapa twon. Late afternoon, the car will pick you up for the night train back to Hanoi. Arrive at Lao Cai train station and take the night train back to Hanoi.

Reviewed On: Dec 11, 2019My wife and I just spent the greatest time trekking in Sapa with our guide Phinh. We happened upon her by chance through TrekkingSapa arranging a trek. We were in a group of six for the 1.5 days and then had Phinh for 1 day to ourselves. She took us on some great treks and gave us insight and knowledge of the area that she had as a local. She skipped effortlessly along the paths with a smile as wide as no other. Her English is perfect. After 2 days of trekking when we were stiff and tired she took us to the most beautiful remote swimming hole in Ban Ho amidst the rocks. It was surreal. She is one of the most lovely young ladies we met and was very proud of her surroundings and the people of Sapa. Wahyu-Indonesia

Reviewed On: Apr 05, 2019We did a fantastic one day homestay experience with Phinh, our guide and host for the day. We are very glad Trekking Sapa was very flexible. As a family with 2 children aged 6 and 8 we wanted to do a 2 day trek with a one night homestay in a Hmong village. Due to my wife feeling sick we had to change our plans at the last minute and Trekking Sapa was very responsive and flexible. So we did only a one day experience. The weather was very foggy and rainy so we changed our plans once again and the 3 hour trek turned into a one hour trek with a meal at Phinh's place. We started our day at the local market and then took a cab to the mountains. We then walked about one hour before reaching Phinh's house. There we had a real good time by helping Phinh preparing the meal. Our kids played with Phinh's and everybody seemed to enjoy the time spent together. So we can only recommend Trekking Sapa. We spoke to Phinh and she told us how glad she was about working with them as they really care about their guides.Her previous experiences as a guide with other organizations did not seem to be as good. You should definitely choose Trekking Sapa for a responsible and sustainable tour among local people Simon-Germany

Reviewed On: Feb 02, 2019I am a seasoned traveller and I can honestly say you will not go wrong with choosing Trekking Sapa for your private trek. I did the 3N2D homestay option. This means you will receive an authentic insight into the culture of a genuine tribe. This is not always possible with mass produced tours. You will also get better value for your money because there are no middle men. Your tour is 100% personalized and you will not feel like you are confined to a conveyor belt type trek. With the local guide, then you can easily alter the itinerary upon your request at any time. I highly recommend using this reliable company for your trip. I travelled in the middle of winter and was concerned about the possibility of freezing weather and poor visibility. I was lucky the visibility was good on all days of my trek however I would still recommend to come no matter what the weather forecast says. Mountain weather can change in an instant (good or bad) and it would be a waste not to visit this beautiful area. The village is located lower than Sapa town so it is warmer. I originally thought of staying in a hotel every night however I am glad I changed to homestay. It was not too cold overnight with thick blankets. Every time we became winded, she stopped and told us a story or explained a cultural aspect of where we were in the Sapa Hmong villages. She explained the sewing techniques that she used on her Black Hmong garb when we are on our last uphill before lunch, that informative respite that kept us going. "Exceptional Trekking in Sapa with Phinh"

IndonesiaMy wife and I just spent the greatest time trekking in Sapa with our guide Phinh. We happened upon her by chance through TrekkingSapa arranging a trek. We were in a group of six for the 1.5 days and then had Phinh for 1 day to ourselves. She took us on some great treks and gave us insight and knowledge of the area that she had as a local. She skipped effortlessly along the paths with a smile as wide as no other. Her English is perfect. After 2 days of trekking when we were stiff and tired she took us to the most beautiful remote swimming hole in Ban Ho amidst the rocks. It was surreal. She is one of the most lovely young ladies we met and was very proud of her surroundings and the people of Sapa. Wahyu-Indonesia

GermanyWe did a fantastic one day homestay experience with Phinh, our guide and host for the day. We are very glad Trekking Sapa was very flexible. As a family with 2 children aged 6 and 8 we wanted to do a 2 day trek with a one night homestay in a Hmong village. Due to my wife feeling sick we had to change our plans at the last minute and Trekking Sapa was very responsive and flexible. So we did only a one day experience. The weather was very foggy and rainy so we changed our plans once again and the 3 hour trek turned into a one hour trek with a meal at Phinh's place. We started our day at the local market and then took a cab to the mountains. We then walked about one hour before reaching Phinh's house. There we had a real good time by helping Phinh preparing the meal. Our kids played with Phinh's and everybody seemed to enjoy the time spent together. So we can only recommend Trekking Sapa. We spoke to Phinh and she told us how glad she was about working with them as they really care about their guides.Her previous experiences as a guide with other organizations did not seem to be as good. You should definitely choose Trekking Sapa for a responsible and sustainable tour among local people Simon-Germany

CanadaI am a seasoned traveller and I can honestly say you will not go wrong with choosing Trekking Sapa for your private trek. I did the 3N2D homestay option. This means you will receive an authentic insight into the culture of a genuine tribe. This is not always possible with mass produced tours. You will also get better value for your money because there are no middle men. Your tour is 100% personalized and you will not feel like you are confined to a conveyor belt type trek. With the local guide, then you can easily alter the itinerary upon your request at any time. I highly recommend using this reliable company for your trip. I travelled in the middle of winter and was concerned about the possibility of freezing weather and poor visibility. I was lucky the visibility was good on all days of my trek however I would still recommend to come no matter what the weather forecast says. Mountain weather can change in an instant (good or bad) and it would be a waste not to visit this beautiful area. The village is located lower than Sapa town so it is warmer. I originally thought of staying in a hotel every night however I am glad I changed to homestay. It was not too cold overnight with thick blankets. I am glad I picked this company for my Sapa experience and I highly recommend you do too! Bryan Lumley - Canada

SingaporeThe Trekking Sapa’s guide, Dung, whom we had for a day was full of information. She put us on a reasonable trek, a 7 mile stretch for us. Every time we became winded, she stopped and told us a story or explained a cultural aspect of where we were in the Sapa Hmong villages. She explained the sewing techniques that she used on her Black Hmong garb when we are on our last uphill before lunch, that informative respite that kept us going.
