6.00 Our tour guide will pick you up at Lao Cai station gate with ” Trekking Sapa Logo & Your Name” sign board. Take a morning drive through the car to Sapa, is a quiet mountain town where is the home of ethnic minority Hill Tribes. On the way to Sapa, you will enjoy fresh atmosphere, rocky mountain ridges, terraced rice paddies and lush green valleys.
9.30 am: After breakfast at a local restaurant,we start hiking along local trails and across vegetable gardens and rice terraces on the foothill of Mount Fan Si Pan. The first part goes downhill for about an hour and a half toward to Y Linh Ho hamlet.After crossing a suspension bridge, you will see some stunning view of the rice terraces, gardens, and houses. The scenery is great here as you will stand higher and looking down on the rice terraces and small villages. The trail leads up to Lao Chai San village where we have a simple picnic lunch.
After lunch, we walk down through the village to the Golden Stream Valley, stopping at Lao Chai village to visit local H’mong people. We explore the villages of Lao Chai (Black H’mong) and Ta Van (Dzay). This is the biggest and the most scenic valley in Sapa. This trek is relatively easy as we walk along the local trails. Opportunities to visit local families and learn about their daily life and fascinating culture before arriving at the homestay in Ta Van. The homestay is simple, equipped with mattresses and a mosquito nets. We have dinner here and stay overnight.

With ‘Homestay’ experience, your overnight accommodation is provided by a local family in their traditional house-on-silts. The sleeping corner is set up with a single mattress (thin, but adequate), blankets (ditto), pillow and mosquito net. The restroom is at standard and a few steps from the main house.

After breakfast, we explore the village a little bit further. We then start 3-hour trek to Giang Ta Chai village (Red Dzao). This trek offers some moderate challenges as we negotiate a winding trail by rice terraces along the steep mountainside.
The vegetation is dense as the trail leads up to a peaceful hamlet perched on the side of Hoang Lien Mountain. After visiting a family in the village, we walk to get back on the main road, then head back to Ta Van, where our vehicle awaits to take us back to Sapa town.
About 13h00 We drive back to Sapa for a late lunch in a local restaurant, and you’re free to explore the town, its market and sloping streets with many colorful handicrafts.
About 15h30: Our Trekking Sapa’s tour guide takes you to the bus office for a bus to Hanoi
16h00: Comfortable shuttle bus departs from Sapa to Hanoi. Enjoy beautiful views driving along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The bus is equipped with large individual seats, A/C and wifi. You have a short break on the way at about 18h30 and then at 20h00 for dinner by your self .

Reviewed On: Apr 18, 2019When I arrived in Sapa, it was raining and the weather looked gloomy and I was a little worried that I wouldn't see much. Upon starting the trek, all my doubts were gone. Yes, it was foggy but the views were nonetheless breathtaking. It gave the whole place a mystical feeling, especially when you're high up and you're looking at the rice fields covered in fog. Due to the rain, the paths were really muddy and slippery so it's highly recommended to bring hiking boots/shoes and a change of clothes cause you are bound to fall at least once. Don't worry, it's all part of the fun. During the tour, My was an amazing guide. Knowing I was unsteady on the muddy paths, she mapped out a path for me to walk and maintained an easy pace for me to follow. I still can't figure out how she was able to navigate these slippery paths in just rubber wellington boots and never lost her footing once while I looked like I was walking on ice with socks. In regards to My, I can't speak highly enough of her. She was a thoughtful guide and considering her circumstances, her English skills were really amazing. During my time with her, I learnt a lot about her culture and her life.I even had a chance to visit her village to meet her husband and her lovely kids.I never forget you My. Tan Geok Kwee –Singapore

SingaporeWhen I arrived in Sapa, it was raining and the weather looked gloomy and I was a little worried that I wouldn't see much. Upon starting the trek, all my doubts were gone. Yes, it was foggy but the views were nonetheless breathtaking. It gave the whole place a mystical feeling, especially when you're high up and you're looking at the rice fields covered in fog. Due to the rain, the paths were really muddy and slippery so it's highly recommended to bring hiking boots/shoes and a change of clothes cause you are bound to fall at least once. Don't worry, it's all part of the fun. During the tour, My was an amazing guide. Knowing I was unsteady on the muddy paths, she mapped out a path for me to walk and maintained an easy pace for me to follow. I still can't figure out how she was able to navigate these slippery paths in just rubber wellington boots and never lost her footing once while I looked like I was walking on ice with socks. In regards to My, I can't speak highly enough of her. She was a thoughtful guide and considering her circumstances, her English skills were really amazing. During my time with her, I learnt a lot about her culture and her life.I even had a chance to visit her village to meet her husband and her lovely kids.I never forget you My. Tan Geok Kwee –Singapore
