Activities: Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by the driver of TrekkingSapa.com and transferred to a mini hotel in Hanoi City, the capital city of Vietnam, is an elegant city located on the banks of the Red River with tranquil Restored Sword Lake at its heart. North of the lake are the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, each street named after the trade that used to take place there.
Much of the city was transformed by the French when it became a French protectorate in the 1880s and there are wide boulevards and large colonial buildings which are now home to government departments and foreign embassies.You will leave your luggages for free of charge and free time until about 20h30, our tour guide come to pick you up and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station where you will catch the overnight train to Lao Cai.

Activities:About 6.00 Our Local tour guide will pick you up by car at Lao Cai station gate with ” Trekking Sapa Logo & Your Name” sign board. Take a morning drive to Sapa. Take a morning drive to Sapa, is a quiet mountain town where is the home of ethnic minority Hill Tribes. On the way to Sapa, you will enjoy fresh atmosphere, rocky mountain ridges, terraced rice paddies and lush green valleys.
9.30 am: After breakfast We start hiking along local trails and across vegetable gardens and rice terraces on the foothill of Mount Fan Si Pan. The first part goes downhill for about an hour and a half toward to Y Linh Ho hamlet.After crossing a suspension bridge, you will see some stunning view of the rice terraces, gardens, and houses. The scenery is great here as you will stand higher and looking down on the rice terraces and small villages. The trail leads up to Lao Chai San village where we have a simple picnic lunch.
After lunch, we walk down through the village to the Golden Stream Valley, stopping at Lao Chai village to visit local H’mong people. We explore the villages of Lao Chai (Black H’mong) and Ta Van (Dzay). This is the biggest and the most scenic valley in Sapa. This trek is relatively easy as we walk along the local trails. Opportunities to visit local families and learn about their daily life and fascinating culture before arriving at the homestay in Ta Van. The homestay is simple, equipped with mattresses and a mosquito nets. We have dinner here and stay overnight.

Activities: After breakfast, we explore the village a little bit further. We then start 3-hour trek to Giang Ta Chai village (Red Dzao). This trek offers some moderate challenges as we negotiate a winding trail by rice terraces along the steep mountainside.
The vegetation is dense as the trail leads up to a peaceful hamlet perched on the side of Hoang Lien Mountain. After visiting a family in the village, we walk to get back on the main road, then head back to Ta Van, where our vehicle awaits to take us back to Sapa town.
We drive back to Sapa for a late lunch in a local restaurant, and you’re free to explore the town, its market and sloping streets with many colorful handicrafts. At about 15h30: Our Trekking Sapa’s tour guide takes you to the bus station for a bus to Hanoi At about 16h00: Comfortable shuttle bus departs from Sapa to Hanoi. Enjoy beautiful views driving along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The bus is equipped with large individual seats, A/C and wifi. You have a short break on the way at about 18h30 and then at 20h00 for dinner by your self . Around 21h30: Arrival in Hanoi center (12 Ly Thai To street). Please take your taxi to your hotel by yourself.

Reviewed On: Sep 13, 2017What I will say is, this trip is very much about meeting the local Hmong people and getting to know the tour guide. It seems to me all the tour guides we met at TrekkingSapa were lovely and in our case we felt we couldn't have gotten any luckier than having Sinh! That said, it should be kept in mind that these are real homes of Hmong people and they haven't been changed or altered to accommodate tourists- quite rightly so- but it's useful to know beforehand that they really are very basic. The reason I say this is because we were told that some people ask to stay in the sort of hostel place for tourists once they actually see the Hmong house or ask to go back to their hotels. We would never have done that- partly because we felt it would have been rude but also because we wanted to experience how the Hmong tribe live day to day. I think it is good to be prepared with the knowledge that the homes are bare floors, corrugated iron roofs, no shower and an outside shared toilet. There is one big room with the cooking area, seating area and beds (one of which the family occupied and another which we had). There are cats and dogs, pigs and chickens that wander to the house before the doors are locked up at night. Again, this for us, was all part of the experience but it is good to know beforehand. Reviewed On: Sep 20, 2017We booked 2 days trip with Mr Hong from TrekkingSapa.He answered all our question fast and he may knew what i want to do.On the date of tour, he came to pick us up from hotel and go to station, help us to check in our right cabin on train before say goodbye. In Sapa.The Hmong house was lovely and we received the warmest welcome. We all helped to cook the lunch and were joined by generations of women (the men were farming). We all loved the food and the boys spent the time running around with the pigs, chickens, dogs and cats- just as we thought lunch was over out came the rice wine!! The walk back was a bit 'tiring' after all the wine but totally worth it. I think we all felt we found our spiritual home and would have move in with these lovely ladies if they'd have us!!! SingaporeOn this trip, you will get to see some beautiful scenery and having a guide from a good tour company really does benefit you in that they can take you the best routes and you don't get pressured to buy things from locals as you tend to on the standardised routes which are also packed with tourists. Our guide Phinh was able to give us a lot of information about the area and people and was really well informed to answer any questions we had. Thank you Phinh and TrekkingSapa.We will come back. MalaysiaWhat I will say is, this trip is very much about meeting the local Hmong people and getting to know the tour guide. It seems to me all the tour guides we met at TrekkingSapa were lovely and in our case we felt we couldn't have gotten any luckier than having Sinh! That said, it should be kept in mind that these are real homes of Hmong people and they haven't been changed or altered to accommodate tourists- quite rightly so- but it's useful to know beforehand that they really are very basic. The reason I say this is because we were told that some people ask to stay in the sort of hostel place for tourists once they actually see the Hmong house or ask to go back to their hotels. We would never have done that- partly because we felt it would have been rude but also because we wanted to experience how the Hmong tribe live day to day. I think it is good to be prepared with the knowledge that the homes are bare floors, corrugated iron roofs, no shower and an outside shared toilet. There is one big room with the cooking area, seating area and beds (one of which the family occupied and another which we had). There are cats and dogs, pigs and chickens that wander to the house before the doors are locked up at night. Again, this for us, was all part of the experience but it is good to know beforehand. United KingdomWe booked 2 days trip with Mr Hong from TrekkingSapa.He answered all our question fast and he may knew what i want to do.On the date of tour, he came to pick us up from hotel and go to station, help us to check in our right cabin on train before say goodbye. In Sapa.The Hmong house was lovely and we received the warmest welcome. We all helped to cook the lunch and were joined by generations of women (the men were farming). We all loved the food and the boys spent the time running around with the pigs, chickens, dogs and cats- just as we thought lunch was over out came the rice wine!! The walk back was a bit 'tiring' after all the wine but totally worth it. I think we all felt we found our spiritual home and would have move in with these lovely ladies if they'd have us!!!
