About 20.00 to 20h30 – TrekkingSapa’s tour guide come to pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi old quarter then transfer to Ha Noi Railway Station and catch the night train to Lao Cai (overnight on the train, the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper and air-conditioning). Arrive Lao Cai 5:30 or 6:00am. *** It takes about 8 hours to go from Hanoi to Lao Caiby night train. Sleep on Train Day 2: Lao Cai – Sa Pa – Fansipan by cable car – Heaven Gate – Silver waterfall – Topas Ecolodge
The train arrives at around 6:00 am. Look for the “Trekking Sapa’s Logo & Your Name” sign when you exit the train station, as our guide will pick you up there and transfer to the former hill station of Sapa. Breakfast will be served in local restaurant. Then, you have a short time to get yourslves ready for a wonderful day in Sapa.
The first stop is Fansipan cable car station. As you know the cable car in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top. After taking scenery then get cable car back. Then, you will head towards the Silver Waterfall. After taking a short walk to the waterfall, we continue our drive to the Heaven Gate of Tram Ton which can be considered as the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. Enjoy the marvelous views of Fansipan from the Gate, the highest peak of Indochina.
Lunch will be served in local restaurant. After lunch, our driver will transfer you to Topas Ecolodge. The rest of the time is spent at your leisure. Dinner is on your own account.
Topas Ecolodge is not to everyone’s taste. It is situated 18 km outside Sapa town and the road condition is fairly poor in places. The bungalows have no TV and no internet connection. The rewards for this is a tranquil relaxation, helping you completely escape from everyday life and immerse themselves with nature.

After breakfast, you are now “off the beaten track” enjoying beautiful views of high mountains, waterfalls and the deep valleys. The trails will soon lead you to the Red Dao village of Nam Nhiu, here you will meet the villagers, visiting their house, and learn about their daily way of life. Leaving the village behind, you will turn into a small dirt trail and soon be inspired by the marvelous view of the rice valley dotted with bamboo huts, which used by local farmers as overnight lodge in harvesting days. Passing the rice terraces and a river you will walk on a quiet road for a while.
Lunch will be served in local village. After lunch, you will get back to the lodge to collect package and transfer back to Ha Noi. The village-trekking was fun, but just to make sure you’re wearing a pair of suitable trekking shoes to join the tour, since you have to cross a lot of muddy & slippery jungle and also few of the waterfalls. IrelandGood experience. There may be a little bit harder for trekking if you are not a fit guy. A bit dirty with mud. Ask your guides for help along the road is fine. The hotel in Sapa is great. They will help in every way they can. Would do again. O'Carroll-Ireland

FranceWe’re lucky enough to get a sunny day after rainy night. Tour guide is so funny and friendly, and he can speak fluent in English! The village-trekking was fun, but just to make sure you’re wearing a pair of suitable trekking shoes to join the tour, since you have to cross a lot of muddy & slippery jungle and also few of the waterfalls.
